About

Joan Divor is an expert in research and planning tools with the SCORE Southern NJ Branch of the Princeton Chapter. She is adept at connecting people with organizations, contacts, and resources that enable business owners to move ahead with plans and decisions.

Before leaving full-time work in 2019, she created and delivered research services and workshops for the business and nonprofit community as the Business Librarian at the Burlington County Library System. For example, she has trained business owners on “lean startup” tools -- practical aids for creating a "one-page business plan," and validating business models.

She initiated and nurtured collaborative partnerships with SCORE and other business-serving organizations.  And, through grants from the New Jersey State Library and New Mexico State Library, she trained librarians and created tools to help libraries reach out to their business communities.

She also has decades of experience in the private sector as a library director, and in market research and competitive analysis.
