Princeton SCORE is a non-profit resource partner of the Small Business Administration. We're small business experts and have been helping people fulfill their dreams since 1964. Our chapter is part of an organization of over 11,000 volunteers with 348 chapters nationwide.
SCORE's highly experienced mentors, comprised of actively working and retired business professionals, provide clients with free and confidential business counseling. One-on-one sessions can be conducted in person at one of our 8 convenient counseling locations. You can also work with a mentor remotely via telephone or email.
Our SCORE mentors, in cooperation with the local business community and industry experts, conduct a variety of regularly scheduled low cost or free educational workshops, providing valuable information and techniques necessary for establishing and managing a successful business.

Save the Date: 5/2 - Princeton Area Small Business Expo 2015
On May 2nd, the Princeton Area Small Business Expo 2015 will offer small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to get inspired, learn new skills, access a wealth of resources and expand professional networks to start, grow or improve their small business. Co-hosted by Princeton SCORE and Princeton Public Library, this event brings the spirit of National Small Business Week to the Princeton Area, by providing an activity-filled day of insightful speakers, diverse exhibitors and training seminars that can positively impact small business success. This event will be held at Princeton Public Library 10am-3pm and attendance is FREE.
The Expo kicks off with keynote speaker, Prof. Mung Chiang, Princeton Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee Chair and new Director of the Keller Center at Princeton University. Mr. Chiang will present “Four Myths about Startups”, sharing critical insight into what does and does not contribute most to startup success. Following this, hone your small business management skills via seminars conducted by Princeton SCORE on “Social Media Marketing”, “How to Develop a Business Plan”, “Promoting Your Small Business” or “Funding Sources for Small Businesses”. And then there are the exhibits! From 12-3 pm, the Community Room will transform into a bustling Exhibit Hall, featuring information resources, service providers, agencies, and associations to address your small business needs.
So whether you have an established small business or are just getting started…the Princeton Area Small Business Expo 2015 has something for everyone who wants to take their small business dream to the next level.
