Princeton SCORE is a non-profit resource partner of the Small Business Administration. We're small business experts and have been helping people fulfill their dreams since 1964. Our chapter is part of an organization of over 11,000 volunteers with 348 chapters nationwide.

SCORE's highly experienced mentors, comprised of actively working and retired business professionals, provide clients with free and confidential business counseling.  One-on-one sessions can be conducted in person at one of our 7 convenient counseling locations.  You can also work with a mentor remotely via telephone or email. 

Our SCORE mentors, in cooperation with the local business community and industry experts, conduct a variety of regularly scheduled low cost or free educational workshops, providing valuable information and techniques necessary for establishing and managing a successful business.

Featured Program for Startups: SCORE StartSMART Series

Do you have a business idea but don't know if or how it could be a viable business venture?  Let our successful and experienced executives help you reach an informed "go/no go" decision. 

Participate in this popular workshop series to:

  • Evaluate your idea: Are you ready to be a business owner?
  • Develop a marketing strategy: Define/understand your target market, competition and pricing.
  • Create a financial plan: Draft a blueprint to achieve your financial goals and attract funding.
  • Determine funding sources and feasibility: Identify start-up capital.

The SCORE StartSMARTTM Series is offered several times a year and includes five three-hour workshops with action steps. The first session is offered as a FREE trial. The series costs $128, and includes all five workshops.
